Joey in Pictures: My ‘Paint that Ain’t’

The long days of late summer provide the perfect conditions for horse baths and photoshots. Joey is my 16.2 hand, 4 year old uncolored American Paint Horse gelding and three-day eventing prospect. Joey was bred in Oregon by Treasure Valley Paints out of the mare Arts Magic Dance and by the World Champion Paint stallion, The Big Sensation. Although he’s a registered Paint, Joey is half-Thoroughbred and he doesn’t have any white markings on his body: he’s a “Paint that ain’t!”

Joey is a big talent and a big personality; I look forward to sharing more about him as we continue our training together.
